actually i think it'll be miami... i hope you have 4-5hrs each way set aside for it...

an hour and a half each way to Orlando is a bit more reasonable then 4 hours to Miami. |

if you are down for gambling then just go to the Tampa Bay downs horse track or to Hard Rock Casino also in Tampa... |

| no, its a pretty terrible casino unless you love slot machines. They have about a billion of those. Nothing else. A poker room, but there is usually an hour long wait to get in, unless you go in the afternoon. |

ya.. roulette and craps and other of what i guess they call tier 3 level gambling isnt legal in florida.. just last month they allowed tier 2 which means vegas style slot machines and black jack...
the poker is also $1 and $2 bets... nothing crazy...
but as i previously mentioned the horse track will have that same or similar style betting as jai lai... |

it almost got down to freezing last night...i think the high yesterday was around 50... better bring your jackets!!
j/k... by the weekend we'll be back up in the 80s... but other than next Tuesday the 4th.. it looks like some great weather... not beach weather but great outdoors weather.. |

i highly doubt you care, but you could drive up to Gainesville and check out the back to back defending national champion Gators play at home vs the currently ranked #1(not for long b/c they lost 2 days ago) team in the nation Tennessee Volunteers... tickets will be around $20 each and if you ever wanted to know what a college game atmosphere would be like then that would be it... and it'll be senior night (means last home game of the season), but we have no seniors so its a moot point...
its on Wednesday the 5th at 9pm... Gville is about 2hrs15min north on I-75... now that is your textbook US college town...
i'm slightly(maybe more like overly redicilously) biased in this entire post but it would still be an incredible atmosphere, that is a fact.
i forgot to mention its basketball if you didn't know.. |

Florida > Freezing Cold Toronto
just got back home today after having to spend a night in Chicago as our plane was cancelled due to snow.....get home to well over a foot of snow....I hate snow. |
