How many gigs do you play per year?

I play on average beteen 200 to 300 a year and have been doing so pretty solid for about 20 odd years now, so that's about 5000 gigs so far give or take.
Would be interesting to see how much peeps play? I also include parties so that more people can get involved. Not just you club guys. It's all good experience in the end even if the experience wasn't good.

I used to be full time DJ, even when I first started on the boards here. But since the Ass fell out of the DJ industry i.e. it became so saturated with DJs it became hard to live off it. I used to have a good life from it.
Times have changed and I have also become a daddy recently so priorities have changed somewhat. So in answer to your question, I ended up having to get a day job about 3 years ago.

when i was a student id be playing somewhere at least once a week but since moving to london the gigs have somewhat dried up. sucks balls |

| I average 1 or 2 gigs a month, but I'm got getting paid much for it. Right now I'm mixing for the fun of it (and free drinks help :D) |

At one point i was doing 6 nights (yes nights- not just 1 or 2 hour slots) a week... happy days.
nowadays much more relaxed!

It's really hard to say. This weekend alone I have 5 gigs, one last night, one tonight, three tomorrow. They're all paid gigs too.
However, last week I only had two gigs. Get my point? Gigs go up and down. But easily 100+ a year. But there's no 100+ option on the survey.
