I'm not saying they are that much better.... just giving you my opinion. I tested out several models at the store, and found the Rokit's (8" especially) - to be amazing, especially for the price.

They offer an insane warranty at L&M that you can extend at any point. Something like $20 per year, covers everything except you actually dropping them.

Best bet though, go to a Long & Mcquade and see for yourself. Bring some CD's, and test them out with your own music.... makes a huge difference.

I actually bought the 6" to start, brought them home, and found them to be pushed a little too hard at max volume. Next day I brought them back in exchange for the 8"... no problems what so ever.

KRKs are good.
