Toronto's Scene is on FIRE right now... (pg. 2)

Coming from someone not from Toronto...

All you (TO residents) are spoiled by all the talent and parties that you get. Most don't appreciate what they have, which is totally understandable; when u get something all the time, its just not good enough after a while.

If you just moved to a place with hardly a scene at all, you would realize how special the scene in Toronto really is.

P.S. STFU and DANCE!

MTL does have a thriving scene too

I don't want to turn this into a MTL vs. Toronto thread, but I've heard from COUNTLESS people who've LIVED in Montreal, that yes it is creative/good times, but that the scene is MUCH smaller in comparison. Apparently everybody knows one another.

I think massives in montreal vs. 'regular nights' in Toronto are a good way to analyze that comment.

(I'm not really saying one is better than the other either, just saying)

Montreal parties seem to be expensive compared to Toronto parties, drinks are pricey and cover is higher on average.

This thread makes me miss Toronto.

WERE ALL SLAMMED last night!!! Wow, I'm so glad to see our scene thriving the way it is.

I have no doubt that Ferry tonight will also be a packed house. Our scene can support/balance so many different markets. Bravo Toronto! wooo :)

+ 1 - fully agree

Had way too many options last night and because of friends I ended up going to Circa (they have changed the decor of the club again - very cool) and once again I had a blast. I am sure I would have had a great time at any of the other parties listed above, I mean how could you go wrong with those options.

Randomland on Friday nights is just a lot of fun - its nice to have a new choice in the city, something new and fresh. I am just waiting for them to have another big party (I missed their Thanksgiving one when I was in Amsterdam) to see what the Mirror Ballroom can bring - its the best sounding room in the City right now in my opinion).

See ya at guv tonight jon....redbull at 3am?
