Maybe it's just me, I don't know. But I feel like (in particular) Friday nights in the city have been beafed up.

You've got TiL, Circa, Mod Club, Footwork and randoms like Revival last night. That is some serious competition. All 4 totally different, unique venues supporting the scene.

Throw in Mixed Bag at College Street Bar, and Fukhouse at Toi as well...both FREE weekly events.

Montreal clubbers are more about the music...they know what the big tracks are and react accordingly. You can't around at Stereo, there are some serious househeads at that place.

Compare that to Toronto, where the parties are good, but a lot of people don't really care for the DJs, they want to get ed up and be seen at the "big parties".

I don't know if I necessarily agree with this. I think you're making a generalization about all Montreal clubbers based on the type of clubbers that go to Stereo. Do you think clubbers at Tribe Hyperperclub all know what's up? I don't think so.

I gotta gree that its really, really hard to generalize an entire city's clubbers
based on one club, being Stereo...which isn't an avg club by no means

Have you ever actually been to Tribe Hyperclub or are you just making an assumption based on what you've seen through pictures?

No, I haven't been. I'm assuming based on what I've read about it on MTLTA.

Tribe Hyperclub people know what's up...

They have two strong house nights (Thursdays and Sundays) and the parties/soundsystem are rocking.

Tribe did that big parties two months ago with Sander, etc and last year they presents Steve Lawler's Lights Out party in Miami during the WMC.

The people that go to Tribe are househeads as well.

Ask me about Opera or something, and then I would say the crowd doesn't know what's up.
