so friday after a massive snow storm i get home and there load of snow on my driveway after the snowplow went through the street to clean everything up, whatever, i go ahead and clean the remaining snow.
Saturday i get home from work absolutely exausted with the slight back pain and after another day of snow i see load of snow on my driveway again after the snow plow went through. I'm a little pissed off cuz i just cleaned it yesterday..whatever i clean it again, this time my back is killing me because the snow was already slightly melted after the freezing rain and snow felt like picking up a bunch of rocks. Back is killed. So today in the morning i wake up again, look on my drive way and i see this..

i mean for s sakes is this legal what they are doing? i'm ing pissed off that i have to do it AGAIN just to get out of my driveway...ridiculous. And don't be fooled, this is not just regular snow, this is melted snow that was frozen overnight, i had to use a shovel to clean it up, took me like an hour :whip:

complain that the city is plowing the roads too often? i dont think thats gonna fly.

most people cant even get their roads plowed by the city. i sure as hell wouldnt complain if they want to keep my road clean.

the only thing i do hate is when im just finished getting ready and about to leave the house when i see the plow pass by. then i end up being late.

omg, re-plows are a fact of Canadian life. Gera, c'mon man... who's been doing the snow for you before you grabbed the shovel this year?

/btw, welcome to the TOTA back pain caused by shovelling club!

edit... from taking another look at your pic... You can blame and kick your neighbour's ass for piling on his snow on the road that the snow plow gladly pushed onto your driveway. If you're in the city of Toronto, one can get fined for moving snow from private property to city property.

no and i think she's right, most streets in toronto have 2 plows, one that cleans the snow and the other one that collects the remaining snow that was left by the first including the snow on the driveway.
So if i have back pain now how the am i going to get out if there is no one else to clean it up? (my brother is away, my dad just recently had a surgery and cannot do it).

no they don't.

The city of North York used to offer that to residents, and it continued for a little while post amalgamation. But that service is no more.
