anyone know which car insurance is cheapest these days? belair? caa? etc..

you need to call around and get a quote specifically for yourself.
just because one company is cheapest for your friend doesnt mean it will be the cheapest for you. |

| Check out this site www.kanetix.ca (you enter your info and it does the work for you by comparing 5 different insurance companies). Also check with your school/work cuz most places offer group plan discounts. |

The Toronto Star publishes weekly the list of average cost of insurance for some 30+ providers. Personal is always the lowest. I forget which day of the week I see it in.
Group rates with your company is best. |

| Rather then just looking at price I would suggest you consider service as well. Not all companies are equal in terms of claims service and believe me... when you have a claim go off the rails you'll wish you'd spent the extra $50-$100 in premium for a better insurer. |
