INTERVIEW – March 29th @ Miss Libertines Ft TOM C.O.S.M (NZ)

As interview explores a whole new take on the industry and its patrons this year we would like to invite you to our opening night at our new venue, Miss Libertines (Franklin St CITY), this will be a night of intimacy at its best and will bring a vibe like no other to the dance floor, we would be thrilled if you can help us create this atmosphere and punch in a whole new Interview for 2008, bring it back to the grass roots of what made it what it is today. It’s going to be one hell of an evening and a night not to be missed!!

Interview are proud to present a feature set from New Zealand’s Finest, Tom C.O.S.M

If you haven't yet heard of Tom C.O.S.M you've got a lot of catching up to do. His manic bass lines and classy as funk beats have see him recently return from a tour of Brazil. His live shows are second to none and encompass a brilliantly unique blend of almost all genres imaginable. Despite the fact that his productions are some of the finest coming out of our part of the globe Tom gives away his music for free, shunning the labels, relying on word of mouth to spread his message and it appears to be working!

And a surprise Oldskool set from Melbourne’s own Richie Rich!

Richie Started his career as a busboy at Chasers nightclub in 1989. Began DJing at Melbourne’s first techno/warehouse clubs like Xpress at Chasers, Maze at the Commerce Club and Pure at The Palace. In 1991 he got a job at Mushroom Distribution Services (MDS) where he was in charge of the Dance Department for four years. Unsatisfied with quality of parties at the time and the conditions for DJs like himself, he started to put on his own parties, Hardware 1 happened in 1992 and since then he has organized a massive circuit of some of Melbourne’s finest events! Interview looks forward to a special oldskool set from one of the pioneers of the Australian dance music scene!

We are looking forward to everything there is for this year! Thanks so much for your continued support! Lets ing rock it!

I'll get Richie to drop Melt - Be Liquid again. I'd assume 7 people, give or take - will actually knows the tune and lost their marbles, including yours truly. ;)
