To say the least, this was a total mind trip...
The Orlando crew (Me, Wilyruk, Diego, Rod) arrived around 7pm at HPC and walked right in... For the first time being at Hyde Park it was definitely a good experience.. HPC has a great vibe with the separate outside patio area and main room.. The patio offers a great comfortable, chill atmosphere where you can talk with people and catch up while still listening to the music.. Main room brings things full circle with crazy lights and sound.. Dance floor is average but there are lots of different areas to groove out..
When we first walked in Three was dropping some really spacy sounds with an almost ambient/downtempo feel, which was a great start to a long night.. around 9 or so Sasha steps in and the madness ensues.. It was insanity as Sasha/Three went back to back for 6 hours:crazy:.. Crazy dark beats with massive basslines throughout.. Dropped some massive tracks, which I will leave my colleagues to identify for me later (Diego!:tongue2)..
All in all it was an incredibly unique one-of-a-kind amazing show.. It was great partying with all my crew and fellow TA's.. It was awesome seeing EPDarks, Habs, TinyTrip, Raven, Suzy Solar, Lil-B, SLR, and all the other awesome TAs and people I met..
I hope to do it all again sooner then later.. Conference is right around the corner!
Time for much needed sleep.. Stay tuned for Pictures and tracks...

I really want the track from early on with the crazy bassline and then Knight Rider stuff going over the top.......
That place was crazy packed. Too crazy up in the front, we had to take off around 1. I knew it was only going to get more crazy and work was breathing down my neck.
One of a kind doesn't even describe it enough. I have never heard anything like that out. I had never checked out Sasha, or S&D, but now I see why everyone goes nuts for them. Very cool to brielfy meet everyone, EPdarks was nice to us and didn't even know we were TA's yet. That was awesome.
Forget S&D, just bring on S&3!! |

EPIC display by both Sasha and Three. The finest show I've seen in Tampa. Both were playing this darker proggy stuff. The crowd was awesome. Couldn't ask for a better night. 10/10.
Nice meeting everyone!!!

| Wow, I'm glad I went to this. Went in with low expectations, expecting a bunch of bleepy ...turns out these two dropped one of the most ridiculous and unique sets I've ever heard. Like Infinte said, just crazy, hard, dark Progressive-y stuff. Amazing to see Sasha's stil got it after these years. |

Three= Amazing track selection, kept the crowd bouncing. He loves Tampa and Tampa loves him right back. Three saved the night imo.
Sasha= horrible track selection. Incomplete beats. No skills. He played the same beat (Or as he calls it a track) for 15 minutes straight. No melodies, barely any vocal. Only thing good was that burial remix. That's about it. I spoke with a bunch of people that were so disappointed with what Sasha played and a lot of them left. I am not wasting my time and effort to go out and see him anymore. He's turned into a hoax. It's a shame.
I left at 1 because I could not stand to listen to that nonsense everyone fell for. Please don't tell me it got better after I left. I know the drill. A couple of great songs from Sasha right before it closed and yadda yadda:rolleyes: 20 good min for a 6 hour tag team doesn't cut it. I wanted to see some effort and none was given by a man who makes more on a good night than most of you make a year.
I am glad you guys had fun, but you should have seen more from that show. This one and the last one in NY were two different parties entirely. |

I couldn't see who was droppping what tracks but there was a difference. Only a few times did I think something was off. The rest of the time was A+ for me. And if the 15 minute beat that you didn't like was the rolling bassline in the begining with stuff throw on top, well, i'll take that anyday.
Definitely didn't want to hear Xpander though. Mongoose yes, Xpander no. |

Nobody paid attention to who was spinning when really. It probably gave Sasha too much Credit for the night. But you could tell the difference. The 15 min track was not the intro. Intro was not bad. At around 12-12:30 he just had a beat looped for 15 f%&king min and it made me want to bang my head against the brick wall. That is pure torture.
I wasn't looking for any tracks in particular, I was looking to hear some good COMPLETE tracks from Sasha. Everything sounded like an unfinished project from the guy. |

I had a ing amazing time. Great riding up with ben, kevin and rod. I really love that venue. Little place in the middle of nowhere but honestly way better than any venue in Orlando. The vibe in there rivals some of the best parties i've gone to in a while. We got there around 7 and Three was dropping some psychadelic Chill out and Electronica. At one point I swore I was in the damn rainforest from the feel. Around 8 me and my buddy headed towards the front right in front of the booth and didn't move till it closed around 3.Three switched it up and dropped the sickest tech house set i've heard in a long god damn time, Rivaling sets i've heard from howells and zabiela. he played for about an hour of that and then Sasha came on around 9:15ish. He started off pretty slow playing some down tempo minimal and techno tracks. I believe they were playing around 123 bpm but all the while it was a solid build.
He played till around 11ish progressively building up. Then around 11:15ish Three came back on and absolutely destroyed that place dropping techno bombs for an hour straight. I can't remember the last time I rocked out that hard. I guess Sasha didn't want to be left behind and came out ten times stronger than when he opened and really surprised me. From there on him and three would switch up every half hour or so going back to back.
I would desribe Sasha as playing more about the groove and Three more energy. I give Three's set a 9 out of 10 and Sasha an 8 out of 10. I was really impressed Sasha barely played any of his usual tracks and really went out. It was great being so close to the booth and soaking in the vibe. Three is an amazingly down to earth person interacting with the crowd and even going as far as to buy my buddy a few drinks lol.
These are the few tracks I remember from last night.
Shlomi Aber feat. Lemon-Moods(Valentino Kanzyani Remix)-Sasha
Shlomi Aber-Diosa(Original)-Sasha
Johnny Future-Perfect 05B1(Original)-Sasha

Dubfire-I Feel Speed(Audion Mix)-Three
Sasha-Mongoose-Three
Sasha-Mongoose v.s. Thom Yorke-Eraser(Acapella)-Sasha
Thom Yorke-Eraser(acapella) over like 3 different tracks/samples-Sasha

Sasha-Coma(Three Star Spangled Dub)-Three
Guy Gerber & Chaim-Myspace(Original)-Sasha
Swayzak-Smile and Receive(Apparat Mix/Sasha Looping the out of the vocals lol) :eyespop: :eyespop:
Honestly this was the best i've heard from sasha in a long time. I was watching him and he was actually doing a lot more than just use abelton to do your basic 90 second transition with just swapping the basslines and etc and really went off at one point just playing samples and having 4-5 different channels at a time on Abelton. He played a lot of bombs although I would say Three definitely played the better set. Overall great time and I will definitely be back for future Three sets. Top class DJ. ;) |

yeah this is about the time I started to lose it as well. The crowd was creeping in closer, pushing, and I wasn't comfortable. We left the front of the booth area right at this point and went outside to get some air. We left shortly after, so I can only say that hopefully he was building it towards something.
