really, yea i actually thought it started to go downhill towards the end of the year, the first part of the year was in awesome, all the way up till giant village and then after that it was whatever in my opinion. i went last night to deep which was fun but i hadn't been there since last october when it was howells or sasha and spooky. maybe having trance djs makes more money, like pvd on friday or somethign, i heard that was retardedly packed. |

Best club in Southern CA is called Revolver. Haven't heard of it? It's because it hasn't opened yet. The Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana is closing. The venue's lease is going to new management, called the Mor Project. Their concept is fantastic. Finally people will have a different choice besides Sutra, Ten or driving to LA.

Problem. The closing time will still be 2am and will likely cater to hip hop i'm thinking. The closing at 2am thing alone is good enough to make this venue only a mediocre choice. Plus, its in OC. |

As far as I know closing time is TBD. I guess it depends on what license they receive. I know for sure they will not be catering to hip hop... will be live music and EDM.
The industrial location has its pros and cons. I for one am happy to have good option much closer to home. |

we'll see. I dont think they give out after hour licenses anymore or they are VERY hard to get. I'll put money on 2am closing time.
I for one liked the Galaxy. It was just in an inconvenient spot. Plus, i'm always unsure about clubs away from Downtown LA/hollywood area. They just dont compare.
Cant wait to check the new place out though. |

That place looked like an underground warehouse with lots of drug dealers last time I was there guys keep in mind the crowd is the onlyyy thing that breaks or makes if a club is good for example thursdays at Tentation is one of the best places to be I even drive out from LA sometimes because the crowd is soo chill and cool I hateee avalon because the crowd sucks its all about the crowd and crowds and be controlled through many different factors such as dress code, guest list good guy to girl ratio and etc... I saw pics from pvd at vanguard mannn I felt bad for the guys there it was allllllllllllllll guysss.. |

You should throw some random commas in there to break up those run on sentences, dude.
The place looks like an underground warehouse? It's a theater. They have other shows there. It's like a mini Mayan. It looks nothing like a warehouse. lol
Vanguard WAS a warehouse. its a concrete box with underground storage. it doesnt look that much different than its QTopia days really.
As for tentation. Its an ok place. Best Newport beach has to offer for sure. The crowd is high maintenance though. Prissy OC beach crowd with a generous dash of persian bling. Nice gogo dancers though. :disbelief
as for the drug dealers. I dunno. You must close your eyes when you walk through Vanguard. Cuz i see the same there. Same with avalon. its a part of the scene. |

mini mayan - self explanitory. A smaller scale version of the Mayan located in down town los angeles.

Seriously, please use some sort of punctuation. It is very difficult and tiring to try and read your posts. It really takes away from any credibility you may have. You don't have to be perfect, but for god sake, please try a little. |
