Any tips for beginers? Me and my friend are about to start brewing our own beer (in a month and half to be exact)

Has anyone done this before? He has before but any extra tips could be useful from an experienced person.

we only tried wine before in the dorms. i think the problem we had was that it wasn't cold enough or something. i dunno for sure, but it came out so bad we had to drop it out of an 8 story window.lol

so yeah, good luck.

Bingo.

Actually, there's a pretty cool place I've heard of here in Bris. You take in all your own empty bottles, you pick the kind of brew you want off their list, and they brew/bottle it all for you, and you pick it up in 6 weeks or something. Much cheaper than regular beer, but without the fuss of brewing it yourself, and potentially ing things up.

Never tried it though, could be rubbish.

use water from a lake or mountain and not out of the tap. at least that's what my room mate used to do, and he now runs a brewery so id stick with his methods :)

yes... did it in college..

waste of time and effort... lot of work, time and patience which resulted in epic fail... was horrible

my tip would be to not do it...
