i remember monster.com having some pretty solid resume advice. i could list my pointers, but i doubt most of them would be relevant for a teaching position. Some wisdom i can share is that you should definitely use 'action' words in the resume describing what you can do for them. A resume isn't a way to show off, it's a way to show how you fit that job. tailor that exactly for the job. for teaching you should probably use words like communicate, instruct, develop, foster, etc... to describe things you've done.

So right. The resume I have for the private sector is 2 pages (one with my crap and one with references). The latest one (that would have done Rob no good) is for the Gov't and is over 10 pages long. Many KSA's were addressed and formatting was as required. |
