I'm constantly using english grammatical structures in my german dissertations and I lose crazy marks... PS. I'm hcore jealous if you know russian... can't commit to that alphabet

OMG you feel my pain so much. i took german in high school. single handedly ed my english grammar and spelling in 1 year. i question my spelling, and grammar WAY too much now.
and the russian alphabet is quite easy. i dont speak fluently or anywhere near fluent, but i can understand a bit and speak even less. i really wish i spoke it properly though. being that my blood is mostly russian it has always been something i wished i had the chance to learn as a kid, but alas having parents that were born here along with their parents, its a bit hard since the language was dropped 2 generations back. grandfather could speak but father couldnt. :( i will fully learn it someday. |
