Seriously.
I'm not gona name names.. and everyone is entitled to their opinions, but no matter the reason for someone being at the front lines of a war, if you have negative or pessimistic comments to make, they ought to be kept to yourself. But thats just me. |

Grow a pair already or GTFO. |
Ok first off how the would you know? Don't presume to tell me my living conditions. Thers no KBR here I live in a bumker 20 feet underground on an iraqi army base. No ac. No heating. No hot water. No flush toilets. Electricity is sporadic. I'm using an internet card on my laptop.
Just becasue 99 percent of the people over here live on a nice fob and never leave the wire doesn't mean all do. Its not your fault, the media never shows the full story, although theve been here several times.
And yes I voluntarily enlisted. But hell, I still think its ok to vent.
And for the comment about the kids and the 249? Whoever taht was you. I am proud to say we have done much to help the kids here, they're awesome.
And as for grow a pair? HOW DARE YOU! I don't see you over here dodging bullets. Well to each his own.
All that being said, I have NEVER been more proud of anything than since i got sent here. the rest. |

i wish i could get kind of "odd" jobs like that. i'm sure they have it for the Army, but we have this "career pyramid" thing that everyone should follow based on your job title. and it all seems , well , almost kinda boring after awhile... i'd almost rather take different jobs here and there that don't fit the norm [deployment or elsewhere]. |
