| I don't go to clubs and hence I don't dance like club hoppers.I couldn't hop to jungle for the longest time (hopefully you know what I mean by that)until someone told me to lift off on the downbeat not come down... hehehe , hadn't anticipated how hard it is to explain.Basically with house your feet are off the floor on the bass but with jungle you lift off when the bass is finishing,I only explain this because every other kind of dancing is easy .Also jungle & house is all we've got around here, lol!everyone has already said it but I'll reinforce their view to watch yourself and others!A lot of Winnipegers really do know how to dance ,just depends on where you go! |

well you could go to some dancing courses.. maybe you can do the "cha cha cha" or the "quickstep"?? Yes that would certainly make an impression on the girls (but what kind off? ;-)
Oh try do some breakdancing moves.. you know twist on 1 arm.. then break it.. You sure will get a lot of attention.
Try to do another move.. the "headspinn" but first shave your head.
While dancing bounce into everyone around you. (especially the big guys, yes the pea-heads sugar :-)
When you are not dancing just (resting) just walk slowly through the crowd. Keep this up for at least an hour.
Try to get the "gabber" scene back by doing the (in)famous "hakken"
While dancing.. sing: eeeh heeee hoooo the whole time
or
Sing: Styler_007 IZ YO DADDY
Drink a lot.. and try dancing against every girl
Think about ALL the girls at the party.. it will really make you confident..
While dancing.. once in a while help the dj out with giving his vinyl a scratch.. Everyone will love you even more.
okay after having read my own post i see what kind of an i am :D hehe
Dont do this at a club kids, if you dont follow my advise and just listen to igottaknow youll get there :D |

Haaaaaa!! Henkie, that's cool!
You can also puke all over the dancefloor to get a nice slippery surface, usefull for breakdancing and making splits! |

Man styler the only thing you need to do is drink a respectable amount of alcohol to get you just to that stage where you aren't looking around to see if people are watching you and then listen to the music and go ING CRAZY.
It is important however:
>that no one knows you
>it is actually trance music being played and not like britney spears
>you're not the only one on the dancefloor(speaking from personal experience here - not good !)
>some real good breakdancer was just breaking next to you and then you're that drunk you decide to show your skills, however you don't realise you don't have any !( all i can say is NOOOOOOOO!)
Anyways peace |

Well, whatever the DJ is playing, I think it's best to move guided by your feelings! The music creates a natural flow you can follow and your voluntary job is to express how that makes you feel. I think you are faking if you try to prelearn some moves or imitate what other people are doing. If you do that, you aren't really enjoying the music but rather just POSING there to look good. Well, if you hope to score, thanks to your fancy ass-shaking technique; fine, but it's very unlikely =)
I get good vibes at raves when 1) I see that people are SMILING and having a good time 2) they dance in ecstacy and let their good feelings show 3) hundreds or even thousands of people all enjoy the same incredible event... all in synch... there's a great feeling of unity.
PS. Posing & chatting at the chillout is a totally acceptable alternative :) Good luck! |

I went a bit wild on the dancefloor tonight myself.
Ahhh... I love dancing with a beautifull girl in front of me.
I was one of the few people who could actually dance at the place. |

I almost forgot to tell u bout the dancing equation.
Dancing Skill / Amount of Space on the floor - awesome dancers in ur area
worst scenario:
(no skill/lots of room - 10 awesome dancers)
1/10-10 = -9.9
ok scenario:
(no skill/not much space - 0 awesome dancers)
1/2-1 = -.5
best scenario:
(best skill/lots of room - 0 awesome dancers)
10/10-0 = 1
conclusion:
lack of space can hide poor skills
while ample space highlights good skills
ps
i think this formula needs some work |
