I dont know too much about soccer, but that game on Saturday morning between Barnsley and Liverpool was sick! Does anyone know when they are playing the next round of the FA Cup?

Great goal by Liverpool just now...

Arsenal - AC Milan: If Arsenal wins by at least 2 goals and they keep a clean sheet (don't allow a goal) at the Emirates, they should advance. Anything short of that and the Gunners will have a really tough time battling when they play the 2nd leg at San Siro. Milan looks better ever since Pato joined the squad.

Man U v. Lyon: As long as United doesn't play with their head up their asses like they did twice against Tottenham and Man City and play the way they did against le Arse on Saturday, they'll advance. At a minimum, a 0-0 draw in France would be comfortable for United when they play the 2nd leg at home.

Barca v. Celtic: Barca has been stumbling lately and they have to play at a crazed Celtic park. If Barca easily wins today, I'll be shocked. I expect a struggle for Barca today. Even though I still think Barca will advance, Celtic is in prime position to upend Barca and advance.

Fenerbache v. Sevilla: uh. any of you care about this match? :p

So if 2 teams tie through both legs, does it go into a shootout to decide the winner?

I believe it works like this if the aggregate (sum of both games) are tied:

1) Who scored the most away goals.

2) If the # of away goals is the same for both teams, they go to extra time. Two 15 minute periods I believe.

3) If it's still draw after extra time, a penalty kick shootout.

not quite. verndogs explained it properly.

1. most aggregate goals advance.
2. if tied on aggregate, team that scores most away goals advances.
3. if still tied, extra time is played.
4. if after extra time there is no winner, then PKs

I see it the opposite way... Milan not conceding a goal in London is a win for them as far as they are concerned; it's Arsenal's uphill battle in two weeks, Milan's got the second biggest stadium in Europe and it's going to be FILLED with 90,000 Milan fans.... Welcome to the Thunderdome!

:eyes: :) :D

If Arsenal score then Milan have got to score twice..These are big boys we're talking about that have played on far bigger stages to be intimidated away from home..Arsenal are legenday at preserving a 1-0 lead hence the song "one nil to the Arsenal"..Arsenal dont have to win,,Milan do..

Milan 1 Arsenal 1 FTW
