I see it the opposite way... Milan not conceding a goal in London is a win for them as far as they are concerned; it's Arsenal's uphill battle in two weeks, Milan's got the second biggest stadium in Europe and it's going to be FILLED with 90,000 Milan fans.... Welcome to the Thunderdome!

:eyes: :) :D

almost every Serie A has beaten Milan or drew them at San Siro this season :p

Arsenal has a slight advantage going into the 2nd leg because they had a clean sheet.

btw, I Carlos Tevez

United is in good shape going into Old Trafford in March

edit: My match comments for Manchester United v. Lyon

United played with their head up their ing asses in the first half. They were lucky not to concede a goal. They were also lucky that Rio Ferdinand's didn't have an own goal in the first half. Lyon was definitely the better side in the first half.

2nd half. Aside from the ridiculous goal by Benzema by Lyon (I'll post a highlight when it's on youtube...it's a must watch), United slowly imposed their will. It finally paid off when Tevez put it in the back of the net. United could have played better, but I'm pleased with a 1-1 result.

as for the other matches. I'll wait for the footytube to post the 15 minute condensed games for Barca-Celtic and Arsenal-AC Milan to comment.

You guys are right about the 0-0 and away goals situation (obviously, cos that's just a fact), but I think, with the run that Milan has had recently, and having kept the pummeling of Arsenal scoreless, I think they have their head in the right place going into their home game. I think psychologically, they have what it takes to beat Arsenal, no matter how far up the Premier League they are... Nothing left to do but wait and seeeeeee though!

I was at Nevada's Smith today. That place was PACKED. I'm glad I got in early to get a decent spot downstairs at Chrissy Mac's for the game.

I only saw a 4 minute clip of the Arsenal-AC Milan game. If Arsenal runs circles around AC Milan again, they'll go through to the next round. Amazing how the Gunners didn't score a goal. AC Milan should go to the film room and watch the Tottenham-Arsenal game from this past December to see a good game plan that Tottenham manager Juande Ramos used to frustrate Arsenal.

As for Celtic - Barca, wow...what a sucky way to give up the go ahead goal by Celtic. Celtic is screwed since the away goal rule really hurts them. I don't see them winning by 2 at Camp Nou.

Arsenal are in a fragile state of mind going into Milan. They drew their last two games, don't have Eduardo and are still hit with injuries.

Man United should finish the job againt Lyon, but it's not a gimmie. Lyon with their stud striker Bezema are never an easy side to deal with.

Celtic is done. I don't see them winning by 2 goals at Barca.

Fenerbache v. Sevilla...I still don't know anyone who cares about this match :clown:
