There's really no comparison - the Mirko mix is a DJ tool, not a track.
Original mix is it for me - we can just tag mixing into each mix for two hours. ;) |
I would be totally game to do a tag session with just the two tracks, three CDJ’s and the looper. We would make babies cry. |

Are you referring to the same track I was talking about a few posts ago?
Nice pics BTW, I think I saw you in the crowd trying to take pics of the stage with your huge camera. |

Btw, did anyone get to touch The Maven? |
the maven is dead... he is using a Korg Zero8 now... pretty sweet looking and close to the Maven layout. |

I've seen Sasha a few times and Digweed a few times but this was the first time I saw them together. It was absolutely amazing and by far one of the best vibes I have ever felt at an EDM show. The f'in LED walls were the bomb and the sound was sick. I was glued to the middle of the dance floor for a few hours.
Highlights for me:
Slam - Azure (radio slave rmx) sasha's opening track
ID - ID his 2nd tune just flipping so sick and simple
Walsh & Coutre - Hello Kilo (they just finished the track earlier in the day and sent it to Diggers and he played it... huge!)
Underworld - Born Slippy (Dark Train)
Tune of the night:
Sasha - Mongoose (Id Remix) ... just ing massive and killed the dancefloor... epic. I have a 5 min vid i'll post later from my palm. |
Was the Walsh & Coutre track the one that kicked off the last 2 hrs of madness? Whatever that track was (digweed dropped it) it absolutely destroyed me. It was like lustral - everytime (yunus mix) meets that crazy mix of system 7 - spacebird that digweed was dropping for a while. Just ing massive.
The mongoose mix was sick as well, and Dark and Long... enough said.
It's funny because people said that digweed put them to sleep in the earlier segments of the tour. Either he played very very different music back then, or those people were popping ambien during the show. He was tremendous in Chicago.
They orchestrated the 4 hours brilliantly, with a grooving opening 2 hrs that had some just the right amount of big moments, then a closing 2 hours with unbelievable energy. It was an amalgym of techno, trance, house, and electro that combined with the lights (there's a link on this thread w a bunch of pics) was a sick experience.
I remember around 3am thinking 'how the hell are they going to keep this up?' but damn did they ever. |

| This show was intense. The guys dropped some killer tracks and there was a great energy all night. I recognized some things from Transistions 4 that were cool to hear live, plus the sound was incredible. Clear and full, not the distorted muddy sound of the Congress. The lighting was also too crazy, those LED walls had me tripping for sure. It was a great show, def worth the high price tag. |
