I remember staying up the whole night till 4-5am last time. A few friends and I just headed out to a secluded/elevated spot with some beers, and music and just chilled and waited.
Too bad no such event like that tonight.
BTW - this is about the same time the satellite is being shot down. |

Gonna try and check it out! Unfortunately looks like it's in the Western sky cause I cant see it from my (Eastern Facing) apt. Gonna have to trek outside at shortly before 10pm and have a look! I love this kind a shyte! |

| Just took a look: the moon is about 1/4 to 1/3rd eclipsed and there is a discernible red band stretching across! |

if you want something more unique, there is a solar eclipse happening on august 1st. last one of those was in early 2005.
whether or not it happens often is irrevelant. the magnitude of it is still miraculous. |
