the root of the problem lies in peoples heads. they think that someone who disagree's with something they say is takin a hit at the personally.
people have forgotten how to discuss... people have the right to their opinions without being battered for them.

Hey kr00t0n, don't worry :)
This board has a LOT of members from very different ages and cultures and therefore it's quite understandable that some people have some issues w/ eachother every now and then, right? :)
Not to mention the fact that some of the older members tend to get aggressive sooner cuz they have seen loads of relatively new members try to ruin the good atmosphere on this board and maybe they kee that in mind at all times (does that make sense??)

Yup i agree totally with this here, it is amazin how many different types of ppl's u r talkin to on here - like u neva realy tink that when u r posting on here you have a worldwide audience, but i think thats cool.
I also have noticed there has been a lot of new ppl lately but surely that can only mean, new views and new people means more information for the rest of us.:) |

kr00t0n, it is true about the culture/persona difference, because if you look at the forums for local areas you will see basically no flames or anything, i dunno what it is, i think its just a subconcious thing really and cant be helped. but then again you get sum people who just post stuff to intice flames or create flames themselves. i mean, if we cud all get along there wud be no wars or owt wud they, so in theory i think tis impossible to achive sumthing like that. |

Yeah I believe in what Proxi says about the different cultures and age groups, sometimes it causes little problems on here. And Ste is right about most of the local forums usually theres never any bad blood about, especially in the UK forum even though we're a wee bit off our heads.
With Newbies and this isn't a dig at most of them, I've noticed that theres usually 2 out 10, who come on the site and try and act like their Johnny ing big bollocks, and start giving it the biggun, If you ever remember the film Scum? it sort of reminds me of that the psychology of it all, they act as if they've just transported prison, and have to show off and act like they don't want anyone to with them, quite simular I suppose to the politics of a Prison block.
Most other times arguements on here are sometimes different viewpoints and personalities clashing, as simple as that, but they can get overheated and some people need to chill. |

listen Krooton, People have opinions. The way they talk about their opinions on certain matters is up to them. I think you are going to far and too hard on yourself. You must understand that if someone "flames" what you like you dont have to jump off a cliff or make a thread like this. With 10 000 users your going to get friction, lots of it, so deal with it man. If a comment like cheese offends you so be it, its an opinion that can be stated by anyone. And no one has the right to abbolish it. So be content with the amount of people on this board that actually like the Fragma and Ian Van Dahl mixes.

why did you make this thread, i really wanna know, although what i say is not "MATURE", it is true..
there is no way ur gonna get a forum or even in life without people bitchin', complainin', flamin', killin', i mean c'mon ghandi, this post is useless and you can cry all you want about the flames, but its not gonna stop so dont take my previous post to your heart because, i tend to be very blunt about things ( i say thats on my mind, instead of holding things back based on society's mentality )and if it hurts u that much then, really i dunno what to say but suck it up..
 |

I wonder if its because people from all around the world post here, and with people being from different countries, they have different attitudes to things, without even releasing, so to them they arent flaming or being a twat etc, but to people from other conturies they are??
does that make sense or am i talking utter crap??
