"Mysterious" fire on Queen West

As most of you know there was a that destroyed a number of historical buildings on queen west near bathurst. The cause of a fire in my opinion is about as mysterious as the cause of the fire that destroyed wasaga.
In my opinion, the cause of the fire was condomania. Especially since i have heard that an application to tear down those buildings for a condo was turned down last year due to it being a historical site. Same as what happened in wasaga. I dont think its a stretch to put two and two together here.
Oh btw lot 332, fez batik (the on again, off again homeless shelter), cantina charlies and Embassy are all slated to be torn down for condos very shortly.
As someone i respect told me recently... "you would never see new york city screw over soho or greenwich the way we are destorying queen west and other neighbourhoods." ....
Im tired of watching toronto turn into a vertical suburb. This madness has to stop!! |

| its tragic, the destruction due to fire on queen there. but i just want to say that i am all for the destruction of the club district. |

they never planned to have one in the first place, At least not for long. The idea there was always for condos. I really wish i could lay it out in detail on a public forum. Lets just say that a lot of unlikely people made a lot of money from that situation. |

I read that Adam "I hate clubs" Vaughan is part of the group determining how to rebuild the destroyed area...to help ensure that it 'fits with the existing queen/bathurst area' or something to that extent, lol.

lol... i'd love to know who your sources are?
The old Fez Batik space is still undergoing renovations to be turned into a shelter.
Lot 332 was just purchased by the owner of Mink a few months ago, completely gutted and renovated. It's not going anywhere.
and I guarantee you're wrong about the other corner of the intersection to. |

he's right about the cantina charlie's and the whole building includingg embassay. |
