| That awesome club sound systems could cost so much. A half a million dollars for a sound system plus another 50 to a 100 thousand for a floor in the club to give it the right acoustic sound that you need. No wonder why we dont have any amazing sound systems around here lol. |

It was the Phazon sound system from Twilo.
It was at 25,000 and the reserve had not been met yet. |

well if some rich mofo opens a mega club or renovate a warehouse with epic sound/light proportions, than you can you bring top cash cow dj's here to houston every weekend like in NY/LA/Miami, and you would make tons of profit that you'll eventually pay off the loan on the club. takes lots of money to make money, but i don't think a techno club is #1 on an invester's mind. it is on mine though, i am just short about $1 million :toothless |

You know what really blows mongolian cawk? Ask anybody that goes to Hush Niteclub what the sound system is like there, and they'll throw it in your face that it is the best system on planet earth. Ask someone about Tropicana, Elvias, and all these other ghetto clubs that keep Houston's name alive, and you'll get the same response.
On the other hand, we never get people praising the system at BarRio, Gatsby, M-Bar (when it was around), etc.
I fckn hate Houston anyways. |

The problem with that---people don't show up. And I'm not talking really to those of us here. |
