I got THIS letter in the mail a few days ago. then i got THIS blue letter yesterday. if i didn't call in 72 hrs, I'D LOSE MY PRIZE! OMGNOWAY!
So i decided to call the number. , its my day off, i'm kinda bored, and i want to see how far i can get into this . I couldn't talk to sandra or kim, they were both in a meeting. *SHOCKING* . so i talked with Kevin instead. and he goes on about everything the letter says...blhablhablha, "i'll even give you a $40 gift card and a voucher for $40 in gas!"
luckily, he was scheduling appointments today. HOW LUCKY AM I!?!? so i've got one at 12:30pm.
i'm totally documenting everything, so in the event that i end up missing, people will know where i am, lol.

Got the letter a few days ago....then the blue postcard. i called (sandra and kim were in a meeting, lol). talked to Kevin Pool...this is about the place near Tyler,TX (which, it's actually in Flint, TX...near Lake Palastine according to google maps). i scheduled an appointment. got the ring around for the whole "YOU WON A PRIZE!" deal. car/cash/shopping spree. same everyone above has posted.
i have decided to go through with this and attend thier high-stress sales pitch for time share. i'm still curious as to how they're going to prove my income is over $40,000. lol. (and if they run a credit check w/ out my permission, i'm totally going to tell the legal office on base, lol)
anyways, i asked the guy (Kevin Pool) how many of the prices have been given away...because on the fine print, it said, "contest is only oen until X number of X Prizes given away"...and he said he didn't know, but 7 cars were given away last year. his attempt to transfer me to the customer service line failed and ended in a disconnected call.
upon calling CS back, and speaking to two diff people, they gave me directions. i google mapped it - and yeah, its on a little lake in eastern texas. they have other sites in New Braunfels (Canyon Lake), and some place in Massachusettes.
apparently they're going to give me a $40 gift card for gas, and another $40 vis gift card for lunch.
my appt is scheduled for 12:30pm. this is going to be interesting--as i’m not going to actually buy into it, i’m curious if i’m going to even get the $40 gas card. this should be epic lulz |

also, they told me to bring two forms of identification. one a drivers license, and one a credit card.

i've actually had a ty wweek at work. 11 night straight. and i finally got all my done. so yeah, its my day off, might as well have some fun, amiright? lol. ps, googling this place has made me laugh at some other people's experiences w/ them. should be good times. |
