Haha what a small world. I'm living in your old commons, ones on North Avenue. Yay Georgia Tech :nervous: I have a bunch of friends that go to State, used to party with them a lot last year when their apartments were right across the street.
There seems to be plenty going on in Atlanta, I'm gonna have to plan to make it out to some stuff. |

I wonder if I talked to you, now, cause my friend dragged someone over trying to introduce them as the DJ but I was drunk as hell and didn't really understand what she was trying to say until the moment was over :p |
Possibly. I met like a hundred people last night, most of whom were pretty blitzed.

So did about half of the other people there. :p Hope to see you at another one of these so we can have a more proper introduction. |

I like BYOB places. Nothing like walking in with two 12-packs to let everyone know you're ready to party. |
Scott you couldn't even handle a 6 pack, much less 2 twelve packs! ;) |

My memories of Scott during Sasha last year will never die. He was gone before Ian finished. :haha:

Definite come out every once in a while! Wetbar is within walking distance for you!
And lol, I'm a freshman so I never lived in those dorms, but I heard toooooons of crazy stories about that place. :p |

Why are the age limits different for the women?
Need gas........money to go...... |

| Every older man likes younger girls, but not every older girl likes younger men. :p |

Because 18-year-old guys can't buy drinks but 21-year-old guys will buy drinks for the 18-year-old ladies.
Just the way it is. |

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
Thats a great way for a club to get closed by the po-po...
(Seriously, I'm still learning this whole promotion thing, since the logic of it doesn't make any sense to me. I see the "increased sales due to horny 21-year-old guys buying drinks for underage girls" bit, but I don't understand why that would be worth risking losing the alcohol license, or getting ACLU pressure for not keeping things equal for admission) |

LOLOLOLOL!!!!
Never in a million years did I expect (nor desire) to one day have my name on an ad for a Q100 event. So, when I got about ten text messages yesterday morning from friends who were like "OMG!!! I just heard your name on Q100!" (I should pause here to say that these were female friends with poor taste in music), I was like "ummm...wtf are you talking about?" Turns out there was is a radio ad for this weekly event at Dreamz (link ). It's pretty cool because they do specifically call out the afterhours DJ's as house DJ's. I do wish though that they would have told me before they made the ad. At least then I could tell them how to pronounce my name correctly. Don't worry though, I am not affiliated with the station and will stay true to the music. Granted, I do have to know my audience, especially when mixing into hip-hop; but, once the sets get going and the after-hours crowd starts to pour in, it will be only top-quality stuff. On that note, I hope to see people out there again tonight. Be sure to stop by and say hi if you do. I'll be the guy lurking in the back room trying to save my hearing til I go on at 2 AM.
...I'm still laughing a little. After years of poking fun of those Q100 DJ's, I'm apparently sort-of one of them. Good stuff. |
