yeah actually i was sort of wondering the same thing.

....but what makes them different than seeing them individually is you get a mixed dose of each of their style of music, and they definitely have different styles. so they're twice as good together than alone. hehe :gsmile: :gsmile: :gsmile:

It seems most often they either do 30 min sets for a bit b2b, and then do more of the 3, 2, or 1 track each tagging towards the end of the night. Or, like on NYE @ Giant, they started off going b2b with 1-2 each and then later on they would switch off for 20-30 minute sets before going b2b 2 each again. It seems like they just go with whatever they feel like and keep it pretty open.

As for the mixing, Sasha plays off the ableton/mac and Digweed uses 2-3 CDJs + an efx-1000. Both plug into a Xone 92 and the b2b mixing happens there.

then what is the role of the maven controller in this whole setup if all the mixing is done on the xone92?

Sahsa has Maven's master out plugged into 1 channel on the xone, and he does all his ableton mixing with the Maven. I believe that when they go b2b he does all his eqing and mixing using maven and the channel on the xone just stays open and un touched.
