+1 oral demerol pills are a joke recreationally speaking, they are not as good as vicodin (which suck) so that tells you something. Now and IV shot of demerol, that is another story.
Did you get a script of these from your doctor or pick them up on the street? Demerol has been shown in several studies to be less effective than morphine or hydromorphone at relieving moderate to severe pain and on top of that unlike other opiates one of demerol's metabolites is toxic and demerol is rapidly converted to that toxic metabolite by the liver. And if that isn't bad enough doctors typically script demerol to be taken every 4-6 hours as needed while the pain relief from demerol typically only lasts 2-4 hours. So you could be sitting in pain for no reason for 2-4 hours or eating your script up way to fast. If a doctor is prescribing these to you for any kind of long term pain management it is time to go find a new doctor. If you doc is giving you a script for demerol that is a red flag that they haven't bothered to learn anything about opiate/opioid pain management since they graduated med school in 1970. Is that really who you want treating your pain?
So I guess to answer your question I would eat them if you gave them to me free but I wouldn't pay for them.
