I was discussing this with someone the other day...
Situation: You are the headliner of a arena type show, something bigger than your normal club venue. An Oakenfold circa 1999 show or Delta Heavy tour type venue. You have just played an incredible set, played what you thought was your normal closer, and are asked to play one last track. What do you drop? Something classic? A rare unknown? Mashup? |

Gotta be BT & PVD - flaming june for a normal trance set
Close second is Sarah Mclachlan - Fallen (Gabriel and Dresden's anti gravity remix)
If I had just played a hard as nails set, I would go for the digital blonde - legato (original) though.
I think you've gotta end on a classic. Its the thing that everyone is going to remember the most, and its what everyone wants to hear. Its all well and good playin a really up front set, but ppl want something the know and love right at the end |
