Awesome thread.

Can we add some superstitions?? maybe 6th sense?

One thing I will add is that when I wake up at 3am I am usually very cautious of everything and usually have goosebumps all over me.

Has this ever benefited you or otherwise proved justified?

Once while driving my car I wasn't paying attention. I felt a strong grip n my right shoulder as if someone had grabbed me, i looked to my right and noticed a van to my right was veering into my lane and about to hit me, I swerved and missed. To this day I beleive it was my guardian angel.

While I find it very hard to believe in Ghosts, something about peoples experiences and stories always gets me going.... I myself have experienced somethings that could be coincidence, could be paranormal/ spirit activity.... scary, but really cool to know there is life beyond.

It is...I enjoy the paranormal as well. But I can't help buy mock Sylvia Brown. Sorry.

I enjoy looking at these kinds of pics too and reading the stories, usually very interesting - although the one at the end is just plain scary.

+1
I loooove stories like that, documentaries are even more fun

Don't know if this counts but one evening over a decade ago I was as depressed as I can ever remember being in my life. Literally crying while walking (pfft, what a wuss I was that day) and felt so alone.

Then a stranger was crossing the street towards me.

I felt so embarassed and didn't want to walk past a stranger in my neighbourhood while crying. I wished so bad that I could find a tree to hide behind.

Miraculously the stranger tripped while stepping over the curb and fell over.

It made me laugh so hard, that my tears disappeared. I asked him if he was okay, and he said how embarassed he was (role reversal !!!)

It is more of a coincidence but for the remainder of my walk home I did not feel alone, instead that we are all connected in some interesting way.

This subject always gets me thinking, cos I'm usually all about rational thinking and logical explanations... but when something like that happens you cant talk your way out of it, it is what it is.

Growing up in the UK, there were always books and documentaries on the old run down castles and Celtic church hauntings, i get shivers thinking about some of those places my friends and I explored! :nervous:

My mother used to work in a castle when she was younger in ireland..... there were rumors that wives of the past ruler were burried in the walls and you could still hear them moaning at night....

SCARY.
