I missed about half of Armin's set due to Radiohead. (which was incredible and well worth missing Armin btw) Armin really wasn't too bad, he was just playing a lot of techy stuff with some decent trance every now and then. Didn't hear anything off "Imagine." I'm guessing he dropped all his pop music the first half?
Oh and it didn't seem like the staff was that bad, they let me in free since I was so late.

I'd say this was an awesome show. Much, much better than PVD, the last Opera event I attended, though I think I might have enjoyed AVB's previous show more.
He did play Going Wrong and some other Imagine tracks, but his selection seemed to deviate a little from what you'd normally hear on ASOT. I've got some incoherent videos I might post later.
One of my favorite moments from the event was this exchange at around 10:45pm:
Some guy: "Ohhh, yeah! This is awesome! Number-one DJ in the world, right there." [pointing upwards]
Calamar: "Yeah, that guy is good! Armin van Buuren won't start spinning until 11:30, however."
Some guy: "Armin van Buuren! Greatest DJ in the world! Isn't he awesome?"
Calamar: "Hold on -- that isn't Armin van Buuren, you see. He's the opening DJ; I can't remember his name."
Some guy: "Oh, really? Well, yeah, this guy's pretty damn good, too."
Then he walked off, somewhat embarrassed.

I am also still really upset I didn't snag tickets to that Radiohead show, a large portion of my friends made it out to it and all I've heard all day is "DUDE IT WAS INCREDIBLE". :mad:
