Well, I finally got my internet back so I can post my review.
I have to say I thought this show was amazing. Armin was as good as I hoped he would be. This show was up there with my favorites.
He did play a few songs from Imagine. He played Going Wrong of course. I'm not sure what remix it was, it sounded a little more mellow than the other ones I had heard. I know he also played an In and Out of Love remix. That happens to be my favorite song on the new album. I'm pretty sure he played Imagine too, but I'm not positive. Does anyone know what the first intro song he played was?
I couldn't pick out every track, but a short list of songs I did hear:
Going Wrong(remix?)-Armin
If you should go-Armin
Daydream-Markus Schulz
Beauty Hides in the Deep
Star 69-Fatboy Slim (not sure what to think of this track)
In and Out of Love (remix?)-Armin
Encore:Sirens of the Sea-Oceanlab :eyespop:
I heard quite a few other ones that I enjoyed, but couldn't put a name to the track. Any help would be great. Calamar, maybe you could name some of those tracks I missed? By the way, it was good to meet you.

Anyways, glad to see the people that did review seemed to enjoy it. I guess most the haters stayed home. I heard something in the line to get in that put a smile on my face. The liquified people were getting email addresses and they walked up to the girl behind me and said something about Oscar G coming and how he is the "up and coming thing in house music." The girl then proceeded to say, "I don't like him. I don't like house music." Not to start anything, but after seeing such a great trance dj like Armin, I am reassured that trance is the best. And by the way, who cares if he poses. He's into the music. What do you want him to do, stand there? I don't think he's trying to act god-like. He seemed like a pretty humble guy to me. I can't tell you how many times he was making thank you gestures. There was even a moment where I was pointing up at him and he pointed back at me while he was thanking the crowd. he even came back for an encore song. I imagine he'd be a nice guy in person. I'm glad I was able to make it to this, and I will for sure be here when he returns.

Hi! I just wanted to mention that I was able to make it to the show (had flown in from FL) and soooo glad I did. Like last year, AVB was absolutely awesome. My friend and I were right up front with others on the elevated area. Seemed like everyone danced and cheered like there was no tomorrow! Even though we got caught in the pouring rain waiting to get inside, the rest of the evening turned out great with the best dj and fans! Thank you Liquified... now if only we can get you to promote top djs in the Tampa Bay area!

FYI, AVB was having dinner at South City Kitchen before the show! I would have asked to have a picture taken with him but had failed to bring even my damn cell phone!:(

If you flew in due to assuming this was the closest he'd be, I hate to inform you he'll be in Orlando next Monday. We're thinking about checking it out on the way back from Miami. We'll probably be too tired, though.

Regardless... hope you enjoyed your brief stay :)

Believe me, I'm not disappointed! I love Atlanta and try to visit whenever I can. Plus my niece who is a SCAD student wanted to attend the show. I knew about AVB coming to Orlando and have tix for that too. Just can't get enough! :gsmile:

That's amazing that you remembered that much. Thanks a lot for that. I guess you were the guy with the sign to play that song?

Bwhahahahaha.....yeah...I'm ashamed to admit but that was moi.

And the thing about it is...he saw me with it, and acknowledged it...even gave a thumbs up.

...then it never came. What a tease.

When you've listened to ASOT just about every week since mid-2002, it's a little hard not to spot something ;)

Yeah I saw your sign man. You never said (dash berlin remix) is my favorite song right now. I was in the bottom in front of the stage pointing at you trying to mouth "LISTEN TO THAT GUY!!!". Oh well.
