Why is it so hard for some people to find jobs in the US?

Just a joke but kind of serious too...

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (made in Japan) for 6am. While his coffee pot (made in China) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (made in Hong Kong). He put on a dress shirt (made in Sri Lanka), designer jeans (made in Singapore) and his shoes (made in Korea). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (made in India) he sat down with his calculator (made in Mexico) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (made in Taiwan) to the radio (made in India) he got in his car (made in Germany) filled it with GAS (from Saudi Arabia) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer (made in Malaysia), Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (made in BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine (made in France) and turned on his TV (made in Indonesia), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in.. AMERICA ....

Maybe he can apply to join the Airforce and fly one of their soon to be made in France tanker jets!!!!!!!

Actually they're gonna be made in Mobile, Alabama

it's hard to find a job here because our unemployment rate is low (less available jobs), our education system sucks, and we don't want to do jobs that illegal immigrants want to do. :)

Its not that jobs are hard to find here.

Its the the people hear DONT want them and rather be lazy at home on welfare or unemployment. Im not hating, because they are working the system just like me.

Some people think they are "too good" for certain jobs, or the job wont pay enough so they don't take them.

I was unemployed for the past week, in that week i already got 3 job offers at or above what i was making at Pala Casino.

Regarding the article though, who's fault is it that everything is made out side of the US?

Its the big guy's that are running the shows fault, they want more profits so they contract kindergarteners in Cambodia/Viet/Laos/Malaysia to assemble the goods.

Remember when everything was made in China or Hong Kong back in the day?

Well China and HK, just like us are too good for making the things. So they are pawning off the work to other countries that are worse off.

Its sad how is out there, i made it a part of my trip when i went to China a few years ago to visit these sweat shops first hand.

But the people were happy, because they didnt know any better. Just like my grandma's birds, they are always happy inside that cage; if they only knew what was outside of it...

Nice. Think someone already mentioned that some people are believe they are too good for the job at the pay being offered. Either way, jobs are out there, it all depends on how desperate you need a paycheck.
