Outright lies!

I mix hip-hop and do turntablism. I have a battle mixer for that, but if I didn't I'd still take the rotary Xone over the 800 since all of my quick cuts and scratching is done with the crossfader. Unless you are in dire need of a send/return it is a definite downgrade in my eyes. I personally think the analog components in A&Hs mixers give a better sound than Pioneer's pure digital signal.

Was it opposite day when you made this post?

If you like playing with all kinds of neat effects that get boring after about 2 days, don't care about long mixing and precise EQing, and just really want a flanger, by all means, go for the 800.

RJT, Clovis, Zild and Mr M.......... read it ^^^^^ and weep.

Some of us aren't into rotary. I for one couldn't stand 'upgrading' to a rotary. I could, but I choose not to.

Anyone who buys an 800 obviously feels that the mixer is better at suiting their needs than a 92, otherwise why would they spend more money on it?

C'mon, this is basic guys!

I love the rotary... dont get me wrong, but only when im playing housey type tracks that sound good with long, smooth transitions, for the quick little tricks in hiphop and hard dance i think linear is better (i dont like the feel of the linear faders on the 92).

yeah and?

I didn't say he shouldn't buy it, just saying that imo, it's really not all it's cracked up to be.

I still do not like the EQ curves on the 800. I swap and blend basslines and EQ much better when using Xones.

Loads of people think Behringers DJX700 or whatever the hell it is will "suit their needs", that doesn't make it any good.

One suited my needs for 3 years. Spent 100 quid on it, it never failed on me.

I'd say that it suited my needs.

Now taking all bets as to how many times this fun little circle will repeat itself.

I was just offering my own opinion. I apologize, and I will go back into my hole now.
