well, in Canada there is no crime called "rape." We call it "sexual assualt." So you can't really tell if he was charged with what Americans would call "rape" or if was some other degree of illegal sexual acts. |

'Rape' doesn't exist in Canadian law.
Furthermore, because it is unclear whether the individual in question was charged with Sexual Assault Level 1, Level 2, and/or Level 3 it is impossible to determine the seriousness of the alleged offences. |
