TA Name...couldnt think of anything better :conf:
although my name is Michael, I'm known to family members as "Mika" and i really like that nickname, or short form if you will.
the other nickname i have is "Kato". In the older pink panther movies a character called Kato was hired by detective Clouseau to help him hone his martial arts skills. His job was to, at random, attack Clouseau. i happen to do that to my coworkers to make boring days go by. the nicknamed me kato, and that stuck. |

Me too. I've been called that for many years. People thought it was cool to put all the first letters from my full name (Katherine Anne Theresa Olszewski) together. :/
My other names are:
Kasia
Katie
Kate
Kates
As for my TA name, it's a mixture between RJ (and then everyone else) calling me that and the Breaks DJ. |

Mine's the short form of my last name Kotsopoulos. Had it since early high school (so about 10 years now). Can't remember which one of my friends started it but I definitely liked it more than 'skinny pig' or 'chemo baby' (I used to shave my head with a #1). 'kotsy' has stuck so much that I've had a close friend come to a wedding with me and ask why everyone calls me Chris, lol.
Like chinamon, my parents have even called me kotsy the odd time as well. I think all accounts were when I lived with a few roommates, one of which named Christel and every time they asked for Chris they got her. |
