Cuzo
First off my last name is Mancuso. (translated from latin and greek for left handed meaning The Sinister Hand or Hand of the Devil)

Grade 2, my french teacher, blurted as I as yapping prolly about Optimus Prime or Mr T..."Cuso, fermer la bouce, s’il vous plaît"

With her cute accent (and her 80s ass recalling now) her "S" was very zed like.

Cuzo was born....until it morphed in high school, just plain Cooz.

For many years, it almost like my first name Frank or Frankie died.

Lisa in itself is a nickname b/c that's not my legal name. My real name is Elizabeth - I was named after the Queen of England :) My father is English and when I was born it was the last time Queen Elizabeth was in Windsor. My parents have called me Lisa since I was a child though. (If you don't get the nickname...Elizabeth -> Liza -> Lisa. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked how you get Lisa out of Elizabeth)

Other nicknames:
- Lisa-Loo (obviously) - read the Nickname Origins thread for where that's from
- Lease
-Loo-Loo
-Loo
-'Lil Loo Kluk
-Bris (only one person calls me that from my old soccer team - my last name is Bristow)
-Lisa Mittens

Others I forgot:

Little One (b/c I'm small)

Lisa Soft (b/c I don't have hair on my arms/legs so I'm ultra soft and people seem to enjoy "petting" me hahaha)

Lisa Bear (b/c I'm a bear)
loca
You're welcome lol

Ok so here's the story behind my nick (could have sworn I posted it somewhere else but I guess not..)

My first nick was Not-E (as in naughty), which I started using back in the days when mIRC was big, so around 95-ish? Guess I thought I was a naughty girl or something. who knows really, I was 14 lol.

The story behind my loca nick came about when I tried to register on TA with the name Not-E and I think the admin thought I was some E basher or something and never approved my request. Since my bf's nick was loconet I decided to go with loca... pretty lame i know but hey, I never said I was imaginative.

A bunch of friends today still call me loca when they see me :stongue:

hahahahha ok here goes
When I was like 3 years old I sprouted something like 10 hairs on the top of my head all of which stood straight up Alfalfa style

Grabovski was a famous polish war general, who was known for his immaculate posture ... aka the hair on my head reminded everyone of this general... this in turn became my nickname

FOREVER AND EVER TO THIS DAY

B/c of this... my parents adapted other nicknames when I was younger that fell in line with the grammatical gender of "Grabowski" which was obviously masculine... ergo: I'm not niunia (to my parents) i'm niuniu (i also looked like a boy up until I was about 4 or 5 years old... my mom would put ribbons in my non existent hair b/c she was sick of random strangers coming up and congratulating her on how cute her SON was... omg AND! when I was 3 I fell down some concrete stairs at the park and split open my upper lip and had a scar right under my nose which bore a SCARY striking resemblance to the infamous moustache of adolf hitler.... wow ffs i'm done lol)

peace :toocool:

LOL...really...all you had to say was you looked like a boy LOL

I was also niuniu...and foofoo (ala nafoofany sp??? )...because I always had a pouting face (still do) naturally.

ps...obviously I taught myself to read/write in polish so correct me at will, its the only way i will learn.

ps. i still owe you a vodka from your birthday at sizzle...we may have some funny times sharing stories in the future.
