| I have a massive vinyl collection and it will cost me over $250 to clean it with Gruv Glide...does anyone know a better & cheaper alternative or is Gruv Glide the best way to go ?? |

get a vacuum cleaner and a good amount of cleaning fluid for it (you can even make it yourself if you can get the chemicals somewhere).
i've been thinking about getting the kab ev-1 myself.

I use cotton balls to clean my records, of course with the alcohol mixture too. |

| I know Gruv Glide is exspensive but would it do a better job on covering up cracks that are due to light surface scratches and NOT deep key like gouges |

nope. though...it isn't a quick wipe like gruv glide. I usually put the record on the turntable, and have it spinning. I'd have the cotton damped(not soaking where it drips). SLowly work from the innner part and slowly let the record spin as you gradually go to the outside. I don't see any cotton ball strands left. It actually picks us a good amount of dirt and dust. |
