Wooty fuking Woot!

Got inside around 9:30 didn't have a problem with getting my tickets or coat check. *yay* The opening DJ was spinning and I was like a kid lost in a candy store. I had no idea where to go and everything looked so cool that I didn't know what exhibits to see first. While I was walking around looking confused I ran into RTT!! Finally got to meet the person who shares my bday ;)

Shortly after we met, we headed to the Planetarium to catch the show. It's good to get to this party early if you want to see the Movie in the planetarium and if you wanna walk around reading the exhibits.

We rushed out of there to go back into the main room and as soon as we walked out the opening dj was playing Spektrum - Kinda New [Tiefschawrz mix]. Now what I learned about this party is that the opening dj isn't like a club opener. Yes he played some older electro house/ electro tunes but it wasn't so loud and he was maintaining a great vibe until SMD goes on.

Around 11 something SMD goes on and the vibe and energy in that place skyrocketed so much. It was a nasty set up. They were facing each other and the crowd was just GREAT! Hands in the air... ppl screaming all that fun stuff. Towards the end we were up on a few steps and just seeing the vibe from 2 steps above the crowd was insane! I took some pics but my camera sucks! SMD played allll their Jammy Jams!

It's the Beat *omg went crazyyy*
Hustler
Simple
Encored with 'I believe' and Thomas really liked that song. So glad he enjoyed himself as well because that almost never happens when i drag him to new music! I turned my bf into an SMD fan *yayyy*

Their live PA was unbelievable. One of the best live shows with soooo much ENERGY!

During their last track they pressed/turned their lil sequences and the song was still playing while they secretly left the stage. I see the guy [he totally reminds me of the Superbad guy with the fro haha] walking right towards us and no one was noticing!! WTF? I totally tapped him on the shoulder like OMFG YOU FUKING ROOOOCKED! and he was laughing .. took a picture of none of them on the stage and left!

It was so sick that at the very end they had escaped through the crowd and made the ending so much more dramatic. Crowd loved it!

The crowd was great. Reminded me of an artsy crowd. I couldnt believe how packed it was! I def think it's something everyone should check out. 2 huuuuuuuuge thumbs up for me. I will be at the next one but I'll be getting there at 10:30-11. Its just a party to see the headliner once you've seen the exhibits and stuff.

PICS NEXT POST :)

ps. So sorry Blake! Wish you could have cooome! :(

It is. People are EVERYWHERE..... EV-ERY-WHEREEEEEEEEE!

Just as in Art Exhibits the alcohol selection is very limited.. Wine/Beer or Soda & Water and you have to buy drink tickets. But I love the mini keg cans from Heineken so I was juuuust fine. ;)

It was def an experience. It felt like an adult field trip lol. All over the Space center by certain planets you can find out how much you weigh on that planet. It was amusing to everyone that walked by one. Very fun!

58 pounds in Saturn woot!

The only thing is that the next one is the same night as 16 Bit ... But its an early party. 9-1 am.

I hope you guys can check it out. I'll be there FOR SURE for the next one with Matthew Dear.

He just had an Essential Mix like 2 -3 weeks ago. (Where is Euphoria to post up the link for d/l :stongue: ??)

Will keep u guys updated because the site said tickets would go on sale for the next one yesterday... but it hasn't.

wish i was at this one, having not gotten tickets i certainly TRIED, but after waiting hours outside of the place and being misinformed by some of the staff that they WOULD be selling tix at the door, they evidently were actually, NOT. >=\
