But stories...I was originally going to make the 16 hour drive to FL by myself (don't ask me how, looking back on it I don't know how I would have survived) bc no one wanted to come with me/couldn't afford it. But then I was talking to my boyfriend's ex and she said that she was down. So myself, my boyfriend's ex, and her current boyfriend (yay for being the third wheel! :P) all drove the 16 hour drive from VA for Ultra. We arrive Friday around noon only to find out that our motel is charging us double per night then what they originally told us over the phone, and there is NO WAY in HELL that this motel was even close to being worth the $80/night they originally told us let alone the $130/night that they changed it to! But, we shoved it up our asses and went along with it bc we're pushovers. So we shower, etc etc then make our way over to bicentennial.
Well, never having been to UMF before, they said they were going to do strict search at the gates and I wasn't sure how strict. But there was NO WAY I was walking in there without my camera, so right after getting out of the cab, I shove my camera in my pants and stand in the line for an hour walking all funny :P Then as we walk up to the gate, the girl just looks at me and says go ahead, no pat down, nothing. I was like SWEET! Ran inside and immediately ripped my camera out of my pants bc it was entirely too uncomfortable. Saw a couple people that I hung out with at Trance Energy and in Amsterdam a month back so that was pretty sweet too. Then Sunday left around noon to make the looonnnggg journey back home with work at 8AM on Monday morning then class from 6:30 til 9pm. Good thing I'm new to this whole partying thing, otherwise I'm not sure I could have enough energy or stamina to keep this up :P

Nice, hope u enjoyed your first WMC. Fun stuff! As far as WoW toons go, whenever I would have to make up a charac name i'd just go through my stacks of vinyl and found that the best way to pick a name. I'll have to post in the gamer section of the board and help some newbs out.

One of the funniest things of the conference: There was this tripping guy at Vagabond who asked my friend to "blow out my dick cause its on fire". He was ignored the first, and second, and third time. Until my friend poured Vitamin water all over this guys pants and said "water is more effective". The guy then thanked him and walked away :wtf: :p

-getting about 6 hours of sleep from thursday morning until monday moring at 5 am when i finally fell into my bed
-seeing a face i had hoped to see since last year when i walked into space, very nice surprise indeed ;)
-seeing the "boys" from space terrace last year, this year and all the other crazy people i met last year
-just happen to sit down next to a very helpful "friend" at SSFD who helped me get back to my happy place for FREE :crazy:
-watching this guy in only blue short shorts and tennis shoes lead an insane dance routine that looked like they were on Tina at SSFD
-a girl take her top off at nikki beach and dance for the crowd, although the bitch shoulda left it on, she was not that hot
-having some guys tell me they had pics of me from the night before, guys i didn't know, so i was like um, odd, but then they turned out to be the coolest mofos of the week!!!!
-having steve lawler blow me a kiss from the dj booth and then after his set when i went to find him, him leaving who he was talking to to come over and hug me and give me a kiss on the cheek, mmmmmmmm me shudders and gets weak in the knees ;)
-helping a friend who G-ed out at radio one/bbc get back to my cousins and forcing a xanax down her so she could sleep, scary and frustrating all at the same time ugh!!!
btw, the cab drivers on SOBE suck ass!!!!! they acted put out everytime i would get in one and tell them where i needed to go, like it was a GD inconvience for them!!!! i almost told a couple of them what i thought of their attitude but then i just wanted to get where i needed to go so i left it alone but serioulsy, ugh, give me a break, it's your JOB!!!!!
i have others but i better leave those left in my memories, keeping a smile on my face, for me to savor but not to share. but definitely good times :tongue2
