i would think being a cubs fan would be worse. at least with mono you know it's going to be over with at some point. but being a cubs fan....well 100 years might be the tip of the ice berg.

also, they are flying an NIU flag atop of Wrigley for the 2008 season for those who died in the shooting spree. kinda neat, if you ask me.

i expect detroit to take the division this year. they made a lot of good moves in the offseason. and unfortunately i expect the cubs to win the division too. the nl central is sooooo weak. but the same thing will happen this year, cubs swept in the first round.

Yeah I expect them to take the division as well. However that is the problem is that people "Expect" us to do something. It was so nice before when people didn't think that. I have a huge problem with being in essence the new "Yankees" when it comes to money and recruiting. That downfall only goes so far though since in the end I want to see my team win and I could care less how they do it.

I think the Cubs will do just fine. I mean when it comes down to it they are my adopted team now and it would be nice to finally see them do something. I think they made some good moves but have a feeling they will blow it as well. Only time will tell.

dammit Cubs :(

on the plus side, at least it was good to watch good ol' baseball again. and their new right fielder, Fukudome, is hot
jonze
haha, all three of our teams lost today. way to start the season off.

the tigers made a couple moves and spent some money, but they are still a long way off from being at the level the yanks and red sox are in terms of spending.
