YES WE WERE!

We ONLY went to PF Changs last night for Lettuce Wraps and hot & sour soup! Then went to Cheesecake Factory for the main course. We share our food so 1 lettuce wrap and 1 factory burrito next door. WIN!

I loooooooooooooove that area. It's my absolute favorite. It needs to be hot weather so I can go to Jones Beach

Mel - is PF Changs really good, I've never been there.

I do love the Cheesecake Factory there tho :) have u gone to the sister restaurant Grand Lux @ Roosevelt Field Mall? Same restaurant but appearing a bit more upscale in terms of service and dishes in which they serve.

Anyone like Mediterranean food? In the same mall as Cheesecake Factory, Aybhan (sp?) Shisk-a-Bob -- if u can get past its mundane name for a restaurant -- has an awesome wellpriced menu and an even more awesome Sunday buffet that consists of authentically homemade Mediterrean foods.

Btw TAIKO @ Rockville Centre (Southern LI) - omg probably some of the BEST specialty fusion/traditional rolls at great prices <3

Love Jones Beach & the boardwalk :)

Love Robert Moses even more...less ppl, cleaner sand

Haven't gone out to Montauk or Hampton beaches but I just have to!!! :whip: :D

LMFAO i forgot about that.

My bf totally made fun of me for that.

Lyss- It's def not "authentic" chinese food. It's a bit Americanized but it was my favorite restaurant back home! Been to the one in LI twice now and it's so delicious.

If you go, do NOT get their chow fun. Omg it was gross haha. But their lettuce wraps are A+++++++++ and Cashew Chicken :tongue3

i live like 10MIN Drive from there! I've been there so many times, but i just started hateing it after the BONO episode for some reason LOL

I've heard LI is a Republican stronghold in an otherwise Democratic state. If that's the case then maybe they should secede.:stongue:

How do *YOU* know about Taiko?! Hahahaha

Welll I know abt it cuz Drew took me there. (We actually used to go out to LI quite a bit, even more than the city - which I used to complain about just a tad, haha j/p :whip: ) ..

We also brought our friends to Taiko as well (as well as a few NYTAs on here) so far its been a big crowdpleaser

But wow hmm those two places u mentioned, hmm maybe we will have to try them out. What r they known for and how's the pricing? I love trying out different restaurants esp if its worth the visit :D
