Yes, it was Marc Houle. She played only few samples on the radio, so I haven't heard it "reworked". But it sounded wicked.

Can you tell me more about what you heard, please?

she played something that was absolutely massive just beforehand, synths everywhere, and just dropped it down to that beat really slowly, built up the groove and then started ing around with it, not entirely sure but i think she might have been running a vocal loop through the psp lexicon 42 as well. Very cool stuff, it was a bit strange hearing "real" drums on the fabric sound system :stongue:

I know, and he always has been imo.

Pus, since he's been living in A'dam he's been like a newborn techno kid :D. Nothing but good news.

Technically you will not get 'm any better than him.

/ remembers his i love techno 2001 set when he beatjuggled Funk D'Void - Diabla (heavenly remix); outta this world

Well, you were so lucky to be there. Probably she was testing that new material. Btw, if you want, I can rip that part with and about the drums from the show, and upload it somewhere ;).

This is going to be massive, I believe :)

Never had the chance to see Gaiser live, but he's easily my favorite producer on m_nus.

Magda was just so immense when we saw her - she's one of very, very few DJ's I've seen the past few years who works the out of a crowd. Just the way she carries herself live lends to the overall vibe - I don't know, I totally loved it. Everyone else (Richie, Maetrik, Troy) paled in comparison.

So maybe I just need to listen to all of them when I don't have to compare them to Magda :p

Palladium
is this techno?

Samwell is signed to Fatboy Slim's record label, Southern Fried Records. The What What (In the Butt) song and video are available for download from iTunes and a full commercial release (with remixes by well-known artists) is expected in May of 2008.

Theres just something special about this cute tiny little girl playing these ing out of control records in such a weird way that is really her own. I cant think of any other DJ who sounds much like her or plays those kinds of tracks in that way, and in this day and age that is pretty impressive.
