Oh man, I hope all of you got to see the game tonight (game 6). This has got to be the most exciting and grittiest performance from the Leafs I have ever seen. This was more exciting than the time Nikolai Borchevsky scored the overtime winner against Chris Osgoode in Detroit.
Leafs were down 2-0 during the first 4:39 of the first and they inch and crawled their way back. And can you believe it, Molginy wakes up from the dead and score the game winner!
Favourite moments of the game:
1)the look on the Sens fans face were priceless!
2)Corson whacks Alfredson to the ground with about 3 minutes left (one for his brother in law)
3)Gary Roberts MVP MVP MVP!!!!
4)Joe Bowen completely lost his voice!!
5)There were sooo many Leafs jerseys at the Corel Centre that it was insane! At times the chants were so loud for the leafs that it was mind boggling. The Sens just sat in disbelief.
Where are the Sens fans now on TA?? LOL! I hope they hang their heads in shame because we beat them with our ridicously depleted lineup, at times dressing just as many St. John's as we did Leafs.
If we had Sundin, Renberg, Yushkevich and others for the series we would murder the Sens in 5.
GO LEAFS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. it's time for Montreal to get their act together and come back to take out the Canes. I want to see a Toronto/Montreal semifinals dammit! and I want to see Gilmour back!

It's really a shame the leafs will lose game 7 :(
I SO hope the Habs win though...since I gave up hope on the Leafs, I'm rooting for the Habs now :D:D:D:D |

ahhh....traitor.
What makes you think Leafs will lose game 7? The Sens came out so strong during the first 5 minutes of the game and gave everything they got and the Leafs still came back.
Game 7 can go either way, but lets face it. There's 3 things that are certain in life.....death, taxes and the fact that Ottawa will always lose to Toronto in the playoffs.

| Well, I want the Leafs to win just as badly as any other fan does...but I know that it isn't likely. Not to go by stats and numbers, but neither team has won 2 straight this series. That of course doesn't matter, in my opinion each game should be taken as a single game, and not look at past stats cause they mean . Some people have actually told me that the Leafs will own the Sens this series cause they schooled them 2 other times...heheeh, needless to say, I laughed in there faces after game 1. It could go either way, easily. But all things considered, Ottawa is a much more organized, stronger, and more skilled team than Toronto is this year. |

anyways... the leafs are STILL getting outplayed, despite winning the game... the can't clear the puck EVER.. they're getting OWNED in their end. idiot leafs are always just standing still in front of the net, letting the sens take pot shots from the point... ACK... frustrating... and in the sens zone, the leafs can't keep the puck in for more than like 5 seconds.... that dump and chase isn't working at ALL.... the only line that does anything, is the 1st line...
i always knew mogs would come through... YEAH! haha.... despite getting the winning goal, he plays like ... not skating hard, not finishing checks, not covering the points very well.. argh... he gotsta step it up a notch... |

Exactly!! And they can't skate too well either...often I see Leaf players just fall for no reason. They need to start playing more aggressively...and injure Alfredsson.
As for Mogilny...well, finally, he woke up :) |

Haha... The leafs are an amazing team, the only reason why they're not doin so good is because they still have a lot of players on the injured list....
and on that note.... it's most likely Sundin will be back to play on Tuesday against Ottawa, and if that's the case i would bet on the leafs. |

If I'm at home I always mute the TV and listen to Bowen. You had to hear him tonight, he just completely lost his voice.
The reason why Leafs have trouble in their zone and that their dump and chase don't work is that the Leafs are a much slower team than the Sens. I mean, going in I knew this was going to be horrible series to watch. The Sens with their trap and the Leafs dumping and chasing. Only problem with the Leafs dump and chase is that they are too slow to catch up...brutal!
And infinity HiGH the Sens may be more talented than the Leafs at this point, but you have to remember they've been healthy just about all year and now we've even lost Tucker, the Leafs have way more heart and grit. Also, the Sens would be out of the series by now if it wasn't for the brutal non call by Rob Shtick and Steve Walkom in game 5. Alfredson is a wanker.
The Sens gave it everything they got to try and eliminate the Leafs last night and they still couldn't do it. The last thing they want is to come to Toronto for game 7, trust me.
