| 30 min is a bit too short. 60 min seems optimal for me. Anyway, the idea is good and I will take part for sure. :) |

it's pity that you only chose Cosmic Gates recent sound. I much prefer their older hardtrance sound compared to this recent Armada sound. |

Agreed. Have none of the older Cosmic Gate tracks on my laptop. Just wanted to kickstart this competition and picked the first 5 tracks I found. They work like crazy on a dancefloor but are no match for the Cosmic Gate of old. |

So I got bored and I did couple of these tribute mixes today.
Will put them up one by one.
My first one is that of Luke Terry, that gimp from Geordieland :D
I first came across Luke when he had a bi weekly set on TranceAirwaves back in what, 04 and I came to recognize how talented he is, even as a young lad.
His style is emphasized by euphoric and uplifting trance sound, with variance that can be from soft melodies to edgier and more techy sound.
He is slowly releasing more stuff every month as his discography is getting bigger, and he is getting more recognition, on the bill with DJs such as Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, John Askew, Matt Hartwick, to name a few.

My 2nd tribute mix is of Danny Oliveira.
I also first heard of Danny on TranceAirwaves where he had a monthly set. I became very much in love with his high energy, samba/tribal influence trance sound. He also now produces progressive, along with trance.
Now leading the wave of Brazillian trance DJ producers (along with Fabio Stein and Danilo Ercole), I hope Danny becomes better recognized in the EDM scene as this guy has way too much talent.
Danny has played all over Brazil, and also in Europe.
His productions have won support from DJs such as Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, John O'Callaghan, Johan Gielen, Marco V, Eddie Halliwell, John Askew, to name a few.
