let me know when your planning on comming here, you have to pick the right weekend - as far as clubbing goes - but there is usually something going on everyweek, even if its small and intimate.

Ill put together a list of places for you to check out this week.

You should prob stop by Quincy Market/Fanuel Hall. They are in the same area, and full of shops, restaurants and bars. From there, you can walk to the North End, boston's equivilant of the North End. Really good pastry shops (mikes pastries) there. If you get a nice day, you can walk around the seaport area along the water. Or, go to the public gardens and stroll around the capitol/beacon hill (kind of behind fanuel hall)

The South End is kind of a trendy area to visit, again shopping and eating there. Southie can be fun, provided you go the right bars. I think Steven had a bad experience there, but I dont want to generalize that area. Watch either Gone Baby Gone or The Departed before you go to southie...they help bring out the character of the area.

Duck boat tours are cool, lots of history. Same with the freedom trail (if you have a day to walk around the city). The good thing about boston is that you can walk around most of the city in a day or two.

I highly recommend you make it over the bridge to cambridge, and stop by central sq for some good bars/lounges/food at night and then harvard sq as well for more shopping/restaurants.

Ditto, also checkout a Celtics game if you can score tix this season or even redsox game just to kill time even if you hate them :)

Research overnight parking unless you not driving. Hotels in the DT area charge $$$$/night
