dude, you told me at 8:00 PM on Saturday night you had no intention on even going to Webster hall....
I don't know why we are even having this conversation...I guess unfortunately for this 'argument,' you never actually went inside the club to see that everyone inside was wearing sneakers. I just got off the phone with their manager, and he confirmed exactly what I said....they list that on their web page so they have a legit excuse to deny people who they deem too intoxicated, people who use suspicious IDs, and people who seem to be up to no good. Thats standard practice at pretty much all major clubs. |
I didn't speak to you until after ten when I was on the way down..We left at 10-04 after Eli called us...I was meant to meet Brian Toia outside WH at 12am and he can vouch for this as we were arranging it on our way down..Mike Brand had Hard Tickets that he was going to bring outside for us..
I don't drink much anymore and certainly hadn't had one beer on that day... |

Steven, I guess I missed something there, and I still don't really get it but honestly, it doesn't matter one bit. Everyone in there had a great time, Mike did a very nice job putting everything together and my good friends Ryan and Tommy both told me they had a very fun time playing (as I'm sure Sean and Askew did).
The club was packed, for the second time in 2 weekends. Let's get back on track here and make it 3 for 3 in april :) |

Here's the thing..If you wanna start arguing with people because of a venue that has nothing to do with you,,that's fine..
If you wanna defend doormen,,thats cool...
But if you don't support people who support your nights totally,,that's cool also..
Jon,Albert,Sheila and Steven and prolly a few moor.. |

We are involved at Webster (hence why we booked and organized the side room there and have our own list at the door on sat, and why we have our own events on the way this summer there), we never said the doormen were right, and we love all of the extended Core family.
This needn't turn into an internet mudslingingfest. Seriously. |

God I hope so, I've been owning him lately in it, as has Keryn, so he needs to redeem himself. |

I havent got called on one single contradiction,,and the people who can read can see that..
Not to mention all the phone calls I had with people on the way down there, trying to get people in the ing place..
Let's see who backs you up..
I'm standing up for the people, and you're standing up for the venue.. |

please, don't try and rope other people into a group with you. You just named 3 people that have nothing to do with your endless contradictions.... to quote again....your original take on why you didn't get in late in the night....

We headed over to WH after Eli and they were turning away everybody at the door..The door staff told us that the party was over and the music was finished even though I was getting text messages from people inside saying that they were still going hard at it..We got there late though so it was all good I spose there has to be a cut off at some point..
|
but then the story changes to suit your argument. To reiterate, Clubs HAVE to turn people away at some point in the night. its the right thing to do so people don't pay $30 to party in a club for only 20 minutes. Its not personal, its the right thing to do. |

That's not really a fair statement Steve. As I wrote earlier, Zack is merely stating the reason for it, not that their judgement was necessarily correct with the specific TA's involved.
Edit: When it comes to turning away "unsavories", that is. We all agree that taking $30 from someone at a late hour when the club closes at 5 is not a good equation for the clubber. |
