1. check out tracks on beatport
2. double check to see which of the tracks I like from beatport are ALSO on iTunes
3. Buy the ones that are also on iTunes from iTunes
4. Save money
Just so happens when I browse on iTunes for anything a lot of songs are not sampled in the middle. Some songs (all those damn tiesto tracks) are privileged to come across people with brains that sample from the end of the build up to where the beat kicks back in. But more of the amateur or underground tracks are either run through a machine or through a really stupid person that should never exist in the first place. |
Heres where reading what I wrote works:
1. I pretty much said, why would you care what the sample on iTunes is if you already heard the track on Beatport
2. See 1.
I wasn't doubting your process, I was wondering why it mattered. |

They do that in FNAC here as well. I almost bought Timo Mass' "Loud" but I could barely listen to the tracks. I had to come home, download the whole damn thing, and see whether it was worth buying or not.
I only liked "Manga" :( |

Because when I check out tracks on beatport, 15% of the time it's on iTunes, and for only 99 cents.
AND SOMETIMES I BUY JANET JACKSON TRACKS! THERE I ADMITTED IT!
Oh yeah also my friend gave me a $50 iTunes giftcard. |
So why dont you sample on Beatport and buy on iTunes?

Ah my total bad. I thought you meant why go to iTunes at all when the songs I want are on beatport. Yeah you made sense. I was teh dumb. Sorry.
So it matters to me because when I am just browsing iTunes it gives me a headache just listening to the first 30 seconds of any EDM tack. That should never ever happen.

I've had stuff up there for a while. Only the radio edits and un-EDM songs I have there do they have a good sample of. The rest (club versions) the sample is at about a minute in the song, so people get to hear the last bit of what the DJ hears as he mixes out of the other track. Not the brightest place to sample a track. But no they do this to other songs not just mine. I am not alone. NOT ALONE!

What is that? Emo bear cloud with foaming herpes mouth? Ahhhhh no it's just bas. He followed me to iTunes? I gotta admit I LOVE my "Without You" remixes. Not too keen on my other stuff on iTunes but I'll heart my deep house remixes because I put my booty and soul into them. =) |
