Are you big on it?

Sometimes it seems like nostalgia dominates a lot of my waking hours.

I think I've idealized the past from a pretty young age, but I need to quit it. :clown:

Looking at this and that "feeling of freshness" thread, I realise you seem to have the same mindset over life that I have.

...it's a mindset. We need to stop caring about the past and just have some fun.

Seems like I always feel my best days are behind me, and that I'll never feel like they're ahead of me again.

I'm reasonably content most of the time, but this sort of thing is always in the back of my mind.

Maybe all of this is due to the fact that I've ed up a lot of things and I just want to transport myself to a time before I ed them up.

One good way to look at it is that life can often be more unpredictable than we think. What if something comes up, and gives you the chance of "un-ing-up" those things?

Pretty sure that's impossible...

I'm sort of "repairing" them as we speak by being a better person, but I can't get back the lost time, the years I spent being an idiot in certain ways.
