It's pretty simple really. Make a few tracks that cater to a very wide audience (house and trance fans alike) and that's really it...lol

He basically mimicked Eric Prydz's style and is just riding that sound.

Not a big fan of deadmau5, but he did alot in 07. Production and remix wise. If you want to blow up, you got to produce tracks. bedroom dj's are a dime a dozen.

it would have been cool if Paco Osuna or Adam Beyer were on the lineup

I may fly out to it right after POP

always wanted to check out DEMF

Basically a dig at Deadmousse's style. The story goes that Deadmousse wouldn't play that gig unless Shcawosue was not only not allowed to play, but not allowed in the club.

:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: what a massive tool - this fits right in with what i know about him - you can even tell by his posts on TA he thinks his doesn't stink - and hanging out with tommy lee only makes that worse i'm sure

he released maybe 1 decent track and that was faxing berlin. then every other track he made or remixed after that sounded exactly the same aside from some slight key variations and effects. not to mention he completely ruined an amazing track like "hybrid-finished symphony" by remixing it and making it sound like the same he produced.

....just goes to show ppl are suckers.

this is just the bp tent lineup - there are other stages.

check http://www.myspace.com/detroitmusicfest for more info - the full lineup hasn't been released yet.

I highly, HIGHLY suggest checking out Jerry Abstract. He's a Seattle local who is originally from Detroit, and is a ing solid DJ. Do not miss his set.

what's the vibe like at demf? from the vids i've seen everyone is just standing around. anyway i'd really like to know where half these djs are gonna be the nights before and after their demf gigs. i have a suspicion at least lee burridge will make a stop by here on his way to detroit :thepirate

Not everyone wants to blow up. Theres a lot more out there in between blowing up and being a bedroom jock.

i've never been to DEMF but i heard the vibe is dope - and afters are ridiculous.

i know we're getting konrad black//cassy//tenaglia//zabiela out here in denver for memorial day weekend - so yeah i wouldn't be surprised to see some of these guys out on the west coast before or after demf...
