| hope the colorado one will have artists like in LA for trance - not the same old Triad keeps bringing for massives. Colorado should give Above and Beyond another shot! |

For those who are interested, my buddy sent an inquiry regarding hard tix for EDC & received this response from Groove Tix customer support... see below
Hi Patrick.
The promoters have decided that they do not want to do any pre-sale tickets. So your only option is will call. Grooveticks has an outstanding record and reviews of being very fast for will call. We'll also have 7-8 people working it so please don't be deterred.
Sincerely,
Dr. Groove
I hope this helps with some of your decision making. Tix are starting at $50 & most likely begin increasing every 3 to 4 weeks!
GA tix eventually cap at around $80-$90. |

It doesn't make sense. Isn't Will Call for those that buy presales and then pick up their tickets at the "Will Call" window on the day of event? :conf:
If Groovetickets has an outstanding record, then why have quite a few promoters switched to Wantickets? :conf: |

Honestly guys, I've had pretty good experinces with will call. The Giant event last NYE was really organized and I got my will call in about 10 minutes. I did arrive the first hour of the event, so perhaps thats what made the difference.
Considering this event, it may not be so simple. If EVERYONE has will call, then the line will be as long as the (typica nassive) event entrance.... meaning no one has a hard tix, so the lines will be out of control. The flip side is that once you get your ticket, it should be really fast in entering the main gate! |
