i was at this party
it was ing awesome and a god damn shame when the music just cut off and everyone was left wondering what the just happened.
derek plaslaiko played a fantastic set as usual and then matthew dear came on and followed suit.
i was near the front and remember gaggle of girls in the front - the rumors are that one of them yanked it and just ran off in the commotion.
oh yeah, derek plaslaiko was throwing nutter butter bars at us from behind the dj table. it was raining peanut butter. never eat peanut butter while you are dancing at a bunker party

Didn't those parties used to be at a spot actually called "the bunker"? Pretty sure its the same crew who bring a LOT of techno to NYC.
And yeah I met Derek in Miami he's ing hilarious. |

the bunker is just the name of the party - it's moved around a lot.
it was at subtonic in LES and also at Luna Lounge in williamsburg
they bring a lot of good techno here. Also the LESS crew, and their weekly at annex, MINIMOO of course, and Blk|Market Membership (Taimur and Fahad) also bring some great acts.
and the wolf+lamb loft parties
This friday is trickski then moving to the bunker for a 7 hour Daniel Bell set, and then saturday is gui boratto. And all of this except for trickski is within 5 minutes walking of my apartment. yes |
